My name is Danica Esparza - I am the Author and Illustrator of good old-fashion styled Western Children’s Books. What began as stories created for my own children grew into a collection I am now able to share with you and your family. In the hope of preserving the values of simplicity, family, and childhood as it was meant to be with meaningful moments, hard work and togetherness.Punchy and Roscoe is more than a name, it’s a place I created to help keep old-fashioned values alive for this generation. It’s rooted in slow days, dusty boots, wide-open spaces, and the kind of childhood where imagination runs free and memories are made outdoors.My own kiddos are growing up with dirt under their feet and guns a blazin’ in their cowboy camp in the woods “aka” our backyard. Through my stories, I’m sharing that kind of upbringing with families every where - a reminder to slow down and be present with your children.Each book I create is my Texas sized hug to every little cowboy and cowgirl. In a fast moving world I hope these stories give a little glimpse to an old fashion way of life - a chance to be in the moment, to read together, and to pass along the values that matter most.
